What is an IP blacklist?
Blacklists are lists of IP addresses that send spam, carry out attacks or host malware. Mail servers, firewalls and hosting companies use them to block traffic from suspicious addresses. Email sent from a listed IP address may be rejected or end up in the spam folder.
This tool searches your IP address in many public blacklist sources collected in our database at once and shows which lists include it and with which IP range.

Frequently asked questions
Why does an IP address get blacklisted?
The most common reasons are an infected device sending spam or attack traffic, a poorly secured mail server being abused by others, and the same IP address having been misused before. On shared hosting and dynamic IP addresses, someone else's history can affect you too.
How do I get removed from a blacklist?
First find and fix the cause, for example by removing malware or securing your mail server. Then follow the removal (delisting) steps on the website of the list that includes your address. Each list has its own rules, and some remove addresses automatically after a while.
What does a whitelist request do?
Once your request is approved, your IP address is exempted from the blacklist database of this tool and shows as whitelisted in checks. To be removed from the original sources that list your address, you need to follow their own removal processes.
Can I use the list on my own router?
Yes. The ready-made list on the MikroTik Blacklist page is rebuilt from the addresses in our database every 4 hours and can be added to your RouterOS firewall.
Can I check IPv6 addresses?
Only IPv4 addresses can be checked at the moment.
